Ans.: Mango is a wireless data communication network, developed by Ericsson.

Q2. What is the different between Mango and GSM networks?
Ans.: Mango is a data dedicated network, with packet switching technology. Therefore, Mango is able to provide instant communication, reliable transmission and maximum efficiency to end users.

Q3. What is packet switching technology?
Ans.: Unlike circuit-switched networks, a packet-switched network breaks the data stream into small packets, each of which can be sent across the network individually. Network access is guaranteed to be instantaneous, dependable and secured.

Q6. Besides Mango Tango, are there other devices for the Mango networks?
Ans.: Yes, we have customized applications for various industries, including banking and finance, transportation and logistics, public safety and security and remote monitoring.

Q7. Can Mango Tango go on web?
Ans.: Mango Tango is equipped with a WAP browser. A dedicated WAP portal, wap.mango.cc, is only accessible to Mango Tango users. The portal contains popular Hong Kong information, including news, finance, horsing racing, soccer and many others.

Q8. Does Mango support voice communication?
Ans.: Mango is based on a data dedicated packet-switched network technology. This means that it was designed from the start to carry data traffic only. Thus data transfers will not be affected by voice traffic.

Q9. What is the data transfer rate of Mango network?
Ans.: Mango utilizes a narrowband network technology. Mango only requires a few seconds to send or receive e-mails, instant messages, SMS, secretarial messages, messages to fax, whiteboard messages, WAP pages and ICQ.

Q1. What is the resolution of the LCD display?
Ans.: 160 X 240 dots FSTN (4-Gray level)

Q2. How much memory does the device have?
Ans.: 8MB FLASH + 8MB DRAM

Q3. What can I do if I cannot point where I want on the touch screen?
Ans.: You can calibrate the panel by accessing "Function" > "Panel" and then follow the instruction displayed on the screen. You are required to tap the center of "+" mark three times. When calibration is finished successfully, then "OK. Calibrated!" message is displayed.

Q4. Can I transfer the data in Mango Tango to my desktop computer?
Ans.: Yes. First you must install XSync Manager on the desktop computer and then connect the cradle to COM port of desktop computer. After that, put the device on cradle and run the XSync Manager to start data synchronization.

Q5. How can I turn on the backlight?
Ans.: Press the "Power/EL" button shortly.

Q6. How can I switch off the device?
Ans.: To switch off, press the "Power/EL" button approximately for 5 seconds.

Q7. Is there any expandable module?
Ans.: There are keyboard and credit card reader to attach on the device.

Q8. Can I use the trackwheel to run applications?
Ans.: Yes. After selecting an application icon, press the trackwheel to run the application.
